Meet Sandra Ure Griffin
SANDRA URE GRIFFIN is an author, artist, illustrator and puppeteer. Her first book is EARTH CIRCLES. As a Springboard Teacher in the St. Louis City Schools, she has helped more than 2500 children make their own picture books! Her second and third books (ONLY ONE WISH and BIG AND LITTLE ABC) were published in 2007 and 2015. She has been an active member of Blaque Berry Puppets since 2012. Sandra’s creative work reflects our relationships to each other and our planet. She believes that our most important tasks are taking care of Mother Earth and learning to live peacefully with one another. It is her hope that her art, writing and puppeteering can help with these tasks.
"The most sophisticated people I've ever known had just one thing in common: they were all in touch with their inner children."
